• Coordinate the internal life of the community within the established competencies.
• Oversee observance of discipline and the Rule.
• Assist in organizing members and internal activities.
• Refer matters requiring a decision by higher authority.
• Promote unity, order, and continuity in the ordinary life of the Order.
• Act within the institutionally defined limits of competence.
